*New* Plant Wax Candles

And what better time than now to introduce some newness into our range with our brand new plant wax candles which are just perfectly scented for the warmer months ahead. So without further ado, let me introduce you to our amazing summer scents:

TRANQUILITY – a relaxing blend of lavender & rose geranium – great for exam season or basking in the evening sun.

GREEN OASIS – a blend of green tea, peppermint & citrus. A summer freshness that’s great in every kitchen.

SWEET ALMOND – a sweet decadent aroma that reminds you of little french fancies at summer tea parties.

PINK FIZZ – pink prosecco with a hint of sherberty lemon that smells as though it sparkles.

But why plant wax and not beeswax?

Well the honey harvest has been down for the past few years and our British bees have been struggling. Did you know that bees have to consume 8lbs of honey to produce just 1lb of beeswax? A feat that’s pretty labour intensive on our poor bees.

So, to give them a rest we’ve come up with a suitable alternative; organic plant wax. Our new plant wax candles (that are all hand poured by the way) not only burn clean with no sooting but they also last longer too (in fact they’ll burn up to 50 hours – not bad huh!). As with everything we do, our scents are blends of organic essential oils so no toxic fumes from synthetic fragrances. We’re passionate about doing everything we can to save our bees and safeguard our environment so I’m sure you’ll agree that this our candles are a nice alternative.
