Unlike traditional liquid shampoos, our bars come in plastic-free packaging, making them an excellent choice for both your hair and the environment. Each shampoo bar is enriched with nourishing oils and botanicals to cater for all hair types and concerns. That said, all the bars are gentle enough to use daily so if you prefer to follow your nose and go for the scent that inspires you most, then go for that one!

What is our White Lavender shampoo bar?

If this is a completely new concept to you – have no fear! A shampoo bar has all the active ingredients you need to care and cleanse your hair and scalp but without the water content. Being a bar and not a liquid means we can do without the need of a plastic bottle. This reduces waste. And a bonus, because there’s no water content it means your shampoo bar is 100% pure ingredients so you’ll find a bar lasts much longer than a normal bottle of shampoo*. Finally, not using water reduces the overall weight of the product which directly impacts delivery weights and therefore reduces carbon emissions.

If the eco-friendly credentials weren’t enough – a shampoo bar is just brilliant to take on holiday. No more heavy or restricted liquids that you need to get though customs.

How to use your shampoo bar?

Soak your hair in warm water as you normally would when wet shampooing. With your wet hair either; lather the bar in your hands to create lots of rich foam OR stroke the bar through wet hair to create lather. For best results try not to rough up your hair whilst trying to achieve lots of lather as you don’t want to start your hair care regime in a tangled mess from the outset! remember to stroke the bar through your hair, not scrub it. Massage lather into hair from roots to tip. Rinse well with clean water.

*Let the bar dry out in between washes to maximise number of uses. A slotted shelf in your shower or a soap holder that drains would be perfect.

Please note that we fully dry the bars out before we package and send them out to you. That means that the first time you use your shampoo bar, it will take a little longer than usual to get the lather you require.
